Toyota recalls trucks to avoid defective product injuries

The Reno Gazette-Journal reported that Toyota Motor Corp. announced a defective product recall Friday of 15,600 four-by-four version of the 2007 Tundra pickup truck. The defective product has problems with a propeller shaft that is connected to the rear axle.

The problem with the propeller shaft in the defective product could potentially cause Nevada auto accidents as it could separate at the joint and force the truck to coast to a stop. As of yet, no Nevada defective product injuries or car accidents have been reported because of the problem.
