The Reno Gazette-Journal reported that no charges are being filed against the Sun Valley man whose vehicle crashed into a Nevada Highway Patrol trooper while she was responding to a report of a possible bomb at a gas station.
The man’s Chevrolet Trail Blazer collided with the cruiser at the intersection of the Pyramid Highway and Highland Ranch Parkway, causing the Nevada wrongful death.
The deputy said the major accident investigation team’s report has not been filed, so no comments could be confirmed.
The Washoe County District Attorney’s Office will make the final decision on whether to file charges in Nevada auto accident.
The Trail Blazer remains in impound and its owner has not been able to get into it to retrieve his belongings.
